The Sanctuary’s preserve, programs and services are unique. The intentional design of walkways and trails creates the opportunity for all individuals to interact with our avian ambassadors and explore the environment. The Sanctuary is open to the public six days a week year-round and all buildings and displays are handicapped accessible. Nature enthusiasts travel from neighboring states to explore the trails system and to observe bird species, rare plants, and invertebrates.
Our staff are professionals in the field of wildlife biology and environmental education. They are recognized for their friendly and compassionate nature and expertise in the field. Staff takes great pride in providing an enriching quality of life to the birds in our care.
